About Sophie

Sophie Bellone is a standup comedian, writer, and producer based in Los Angeles.

A graduate of Emerson College with a degree in Comedic Arts, Sophie began her career writing 10-minute plays for middle schoolers, which are still produced annually. She has produced several sold-out variety shows at The Stray Theater in Los Angeles, blending stand-up with music and other clownery. Additionally, she co-produces sketch, improv and music shows whenever she is given the chance.

Sophie is currently writing her first feature film, a stoner comedy set during the Trojan War. She aspires to bring comedy to as many people as possible (technically, she aspires to win The Nathan's hot dog eating contest, but she's five feet tall and has IBS, so that's less realistic).
